M26 heavy tank (nickname: Pershing) is a heavy tank developed and equipped by United States during the World War II.

The M26 heavy tank was developed in 1943, finalized in 1945, and equipped by the U.S. Army at the end of World War II, which marked the beginning of a new direction for the development of American tanks, along which the M60 series main battle tanks were finally born in the 1960s. Although it did not have time to play a role in the Great War, it was heavily used in the Korean War in 1950.
